About University of Sydney International Scholarships

The University of Sydney has introduced a new scholarship for international students to study at the university. The scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate students who are in their final year of study or have completed one year of study.

The University of Sydney International Scholarships will be awarded annually, with an initial $1 million and an ongoing annual funding of $400,000 until 2020. The scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation and living costs in Australia. To qualify for the scholarships, international students must be nominated by a faculty member who has undertaken further research or teaching with the applicant over a period of 12 months before applying for the scholarship.
