What rights are given to an arrested person

It states that no person who is arrested shall be detained in custody without being informed, as soon as may be, of the grounds for such arrest nor shall he be denied the right to consult, and to be defended by, a legal practitioner of his choice.

As it is said by any legal practitioner “You have the right to remain silent and to refuse to answer questions. Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future”

That means you only have the right to remain silent while you are arrested and you are given the freedom to call an attorney at any time once you are arrested.
