Micro Short Filmmaking
Micro short films are little films that you can make yourself, usually with a smartphone or whatever other recording gear you might have around, like a digital camera. Ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes, micro shorts are enjoyed by people around the world though festivals, YouTube, Vimeo or other sharing sites. Just like bigger films, micro shorts can be funny, serious, dramatic, documentary, poetic, musical, cause-oriented or whatever you would like them to be. The best part is that they are fun and quite easy to make!
Please join me as I show you the basic approach to making your own micro short films and sharing them with friends, family or the world. I am a successful filmmaker who loves making micro short films and have won many awards for my work. I’m also the author of the book “Micro Short Filmmaking: A guided learning journey” and most of the book’s ideas are also shared in this course alongside the video lectures. I will walk you through the journey of becoming a confident and successful micro short filmmaker, sharing with you the fun and enjoyment I have experienced making micro short films!
