The following is a list of 2020/2021 scholarships for students from Africa and other Developing Countries that You need to apply for, before they close in May. Some of these scholarships are also offered for international students generally.

University of Sussex Mandela Scholarship 2020/2021 for African Masters Students

The Mandela Scholarship was established in 1973 to protest against the injustice of apartheid and raise the profile of Nelson Mandela’s struggle for freedom.

 

Deadline Extended: Commonwealth Distance-Learning Scholarships 2020/2021 for Developing Countries

Commonwealth Distance Learning program are Scholarships for students from africa and lower middle income Commonwealth countries, for part-time Master’s study by distance learning on selected courses offered by UK universities.

KNUST/MasterCard Foundation Scholarship for Ghanaian & African Students

Application Deadline: 1st May

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Ghana is offering MasterCard Foundation Scholarships for students from Africa and Ghana.

University of Westminster Full Undergraduate Scholarships for Developing Countries

Application Deadline: 29th May

The University of Westminster is offering scholarships aimed at fully funding three students from developing countries to study full-time Undergraduate programs.

University of Edinburgh –University of Leiden Joint Funded PhD Studentships

Application Deadline: 1st May

Two of the studentships will be hosted at the University of Edinburgh’s Centre of African Studies (CAS) and two at African Studies Centre Leiden (ASCL).

Miles Morland Foundation African Scholarship at University of East Anglia

Application Deadline: 1st May

The Miles Morland Foundation African Scholarship is awarded to a Postgraduate student within the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing to enable them to study on the MA Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) course.
