An Italian-Nigerian professional footballer named King Paul Akpan Udoh has reportedly emerged as the first footballer to be diagnosed with the deadly corona-virus.

Last week, many Italian Serie A games were postponed due to the outbreak of the disease in the country in which side like Inter Milan had their stadium locked.

Italian Serie A chiefs are said to have proposed playing games behind closed doors to the government as another precaution for the virus.

A final communication is expected from the government on the FA’s proposal on the deadline epidemic.

The virus has also been discovered in Nigeria with an Italian man reported to have brought it to Lagos according to the Federal Ministry of Health.

Will 11 games to wrap the ongoing season up, the Merseyside will need at least four more wins to be crowned winners before May.
